A two-herb liquid formula containing astragalus and codonopsis roots. It is licensed in Canada for children aged two and older to help maintain a healthy immune system and as a traditional vital-energy tonic for fatigue.
 
BEST FOR
Children aged two and older who need a measured liquid format and whose parent or healthcare professional prefers a traditional herbal immune tonic. The formula may also be used by adolescents and adults at the appropriate label dose.
 
This product supports normal immune function but has not been shown to prevent or cure colds, influenza or other infections. It does not replace vaccination, sleep, nutritious food, prescribed medication or medical assessment for a sick child.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Take twice daily in a small amount of water or juice on an empty stomach:
Children 2–4 years: 0.75–1 mL per dose
Children 5–9 years: 1–1.5 mL per dose
Children and adolescents 10–14 years: 2–3 mL per dose
Adults and adolescents 15 years and older: 4.5–6 mL per dose
 
Measure doses with a calibrated oral syringe or marked dropper. Drop counts are less accurate than millilitres and can vary according to the dropper and technique.
 
Depending on the child’s age and dose, the 50 mL bottle provides approximately:
25–33 days for ages 2–4
17–25 days for ages 5–9
8–12 days for ages 10–14
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Do not give this product to a child younger than two years.
 
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if the child has an autoimmune disorder or takes an immunosuppressant, biologic medication or transplant medicine. Astragalus and codonopsis affect immune activity and may be inappropriate with treatment intended to suppress the immune system.
 
Ask a healthcare professional before use if the child has a chronic medical condition, takes prescription medication or experiences recurrent or unusually severe infections. Consult before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
 
This tincture contains organic alcohol. The final alcohol concentration is not stated on the manufacturer’s current webpage. Parents wishing to avoid alcohol should consider the separately licensed Deep Immune Kids Honey & Berry formula after checking its ingredients and dose; it is not the same product.
 
Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Seek prompt medical assessment for:
Difficulty breathing, wheezing or blue lips
Dehydration, unusual drowsiness or confusion
A stiff neck, seizure or non-blanching rash
Fever in a child who appears seriously unwell
Symptoms that are severe, recurrent or not improving as expected
 
Stop use if rash, swelling, vomiting, breathing difficulty or another allergic reaction occurs. Keep out of reach of children and do not use if the seal is broken.

Each 1 mL contains approximately:
Astragalus root 1:4 extract: 0.35 mL, equivalent to 87.5 mg dried root
Codonopsis root 1:4 extract: 0.35 mL, equivalent to 87.5 mg dried root

NON-MEDICINAL AND ALLERGEN INFORMATION
Non-medicinal ingredients: Distilled water, organic alcohol, whey from milk and organic vegetable glycerine.
 
Contains milk-derived whey. Do not use in a child with a milk-protein allergy unless the child’s allergist or healthcare professional has confirmed that it is appropriate.
 
The product is vegetarian but not vegan because it contains whey.
 
No soy ingredient is listed; however, the manufacturer does not provide an explicit soy-free manufacturing guarantee on the current product page.
 
Confirm the physical bottle before recommending it to someone with a severe soy allergy.
 
STORAGE
