Although laboratory research has identified antimicrobial properties in oregano-oil components, this supplement is not an antibiotic, antiviral, antifungal or antiparasitic medication. It should not be used to prevent or treat influenza, COVID-19, pneumonia, strep throat or another diagnosed infection.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults: Take 1 capsule twice daily with food, followed by water or another cold beverage.
 
At the labelled dose of two capsules daily, the 60-capsule bottle provides a 30-day supply.
 
Do not exceed the dose printed on the physical label.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless specifically directed by a qualified healthcare professional.
 
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you:
Take warfarin, another anticoagulant or an antiplatelet medication
Take medication for diabetes or have difficulty maintaining normal blood glucose
Have a bleeding disorder, stomach ulcer, liver condition or upcoming surgery
Take prescription medication or several other natural health products
Have an allergy to oregano or another plant in the mint family
 
The mint or Lamiaceae family includes basil, hyssop, lavender, mint, rosemary, sage and thyme. Do not use if you have experienced an allergic reaction to these plants.
 
Oregano oil may cause heartburn, nausea, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea or irritation of the mouth and digestive tract. Stop use if gastrointestinal upset or an allergic reaction occurs.
 
Seek medical care for difficulty breathing, facial or throat swelling, high or persistent fever, dehydration, chest pain, severe abdominal symptoms or an infection that is persistent or worsening. Keep out of reach of children.
 
MEDICINAL INGREDIENT
Each vegan Organicap® contains:
Mediterranean oregano oil (Origanum vulgare, aerial parts), derived from oil containing at least 80% carvacrol and providing a minimum of 15 mg carvacrol
 
The manufacturer states that one capsule is equivalent to approximately two drops of its Super Strength liquid oregano oil or four drops of its regular oregano oil. This comparison applies only to Pure-lē products and should not be used to convert doses from other brands.
 
NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS
Vegan vitamin D, rice and hypromellose vegetable capsule.
 
Vegan, kosher and non-GMO. Labelled free from dairy, gluten, wheat, soy, corn, yeast, added sweeteners, egg, fish, shellfish and tree-nut ingredients.
