HOW TO TAKE IT

Adults: Take 1 capsule daily with food, a few hours before or after other medications or natural health products, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

At the recommended dose, 60 capsules provide a 60-day supply.

MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS

Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you take warfarin or another blood thinner. The formula contains vitamin K2, and maintaining a consistent vitamin K intake is important during warfarin therapy.

Take it several hours apart from levothyroxine, tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, bisphosphonates and other medications whose absorption may be reduced by iron, calcium, magnesium or zinc. Ask our pharmacist to confirm the appropriate interval.

This multivitamin contains 6 mg of iron. Ask a healthcare professional before use if you have hemochromatosis, iron overload, repeated blood transfusions, significant liver disease or have been advised to avoid supplemental iron.

Review the total dose before combining it with another multivitamin or separate vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin K, zinc, iron or selenium supplements.

Niacin may cause temporary warmth, flushing, itching or redness. Stop use if hypersensitivity or another concerning reaction occurs.

There is enough iron in this package to seriously harm a child. Keep securely out of reach of children. Contact a poison-control centre immediately if a child accidentally consumes the capsules.

NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS

Vegetarian capsule made from carbohydrate gum, purified water and sodium copper chlorophyllin; rice flour, vegetable-grade magnesium stearate and silica.

ALLERGEN AND DIETARY INFORMATION

Labelled free from dairy, sugar, wheat, gluten, yeast, egg, fish, shellfish, salt, tree nuts, artificial preservatives, artificial colours, artificial sweeteners and genetically modified ingredients.

The manufacturer’s current allergen statement does not identify this formula as soy-free. Several minerals use hydrolyzed vegetable protein chelates, but the plant source is not disclosed. Customers with a soy allergy should confirm the source directly with Preferred Nutrition or inspect the current bottle before use.

The vegetable blend contains celery and barley grass. Customers with severe celery allergy or celiac disease should rely on the current package and manufacturer guidance despite the published gluten-free claim.
