Because 50 mg exceeds the adult tolerable upper intake level of 40 mg daily, this is not intended as an indefinite everyday supplement without professional monitoring.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults: Take 1 capsule daily with a meal. Taking zinc with food helps reduce nausea.
 
At the labelled dose, 120 capsules provide a 120-day supply; however, ask a healthcare professional to determine an appropriate duration before using this high-strength formula continuously.
 
MEDICATION & SAFETY CAUTIONS
Long-term high-dose zinc can reduce copper absorption and cause copper deficiency, potentially resulting in anemia, low white-blood-cell counts or neurological symptoms. Avoid combining it with other zinc-containing multivitamins, immune products or cold remedies unless your total intake has been reviewed.
 
Separate zinc from iron, calcium and magnesium supplements by at least two hours. It can also interfere with tetracycline and quinolone antibiotics and penicillamine; ask our pharmacist for medication-specific spacing instructions.
Zinc may cause nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea or a metallic taste, particularly when taken without food. Stop use and seek advice if these effects persist or if unexplained fatigue, weakness, numbness or tingling develops.
