HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults 19 years and older: Take 1 capsule twice daily.
 
It may be taken with a meal if it causes digestive discomfort. At the labelled dose, 60 capsules provide a 30-day supply.
 
Do not increase the dose or use it in place of prescribed ursodiol or another bile-acid medication without medical direction.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you:
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have gallstones, gallbladder inflammation or a blocked or narrowed bile duct
Have liver, pancreatic or significant gastrointestinal disease
Have had your gallbladder removed and continue to experience digestive symptoms
Take ursodiol, chenodiol or another bile-acid product
Take cholestyramine, colestipol or another bile-acid sequestrant
Take an aluminum-containing antacid or prescription medication
 
Bile-acid sequestrants and certain antacids may reduce the absorption of bile acids. Ask our pharmacist whether the doses need to be separated.
 
Stop use if gastrointestinal discomfort or disturbances occur. Possible effects include diarrhea, abdominal cramping, nausea, bloating or changes in stool.
 
Stop taking the product and seek prompt medical assessment for yellow skin or eyes, dark urine, pale or clay-coloured stool, fever, persistent vomiting, severe upper-right abdominal pain or pain spreading to the back or shoulder.
 
These symptoms may indicate a liver, gallbladder, bile-duct or pancreatic condition requiring medical care.
 
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the safety seal is broken.

The capsule shell is vegetable-based. However, CanPrev’s current product page does not explicitly identify the complete TUDCA product as vegan or disclose the manufacturing source of the TUDCA.
