A sterile, preservative-free homeopathic liquid supplied in convenient single-use doses. Camilia is intended to help relieve teething-related discomfort, restlessness and irritability in babies and toddlers from 1 to 30 months of age.

Camilia is a licensed homeopathic medicine. Its claims are based on traditional homeopathic references and not modern scientific evidence. A DIN-HM confirms authorization for sale in Canada but does not establish effectiveness to the same evidentiary standard as conventional medication.

BEST FOR

Babies and toddlers from 1 to 30 months experiencing mild gum discomfort, restlessness or irritability associated with teething. The unflavoured liquid contains no sugar, dye, benzocaine or preservatives.

Fever, persistent diarrhea, vomiting, pronounced lethargy or severe pain should not be assumed to result from teething and require appropriate medical assessment.

HOW TO USE IT

For children from 1 to 30 months:

• Separate one unit-dose and twist off its tip.

• Hold the child upright and squeeze the entire contents into the mouth.

• Give 1 unit-dose when symptoms begin.

• If symptoms continue, repeat at 15-minute intervals for up to 3 unit-doses.

• Repeat this regimen with subsequent episodes if required, without exceeding 6 unit-doses in 24 hours.

Use for 3 to 8 days according to the Canadian package directions. Each unit-dose is for one use only; discard it immediately after opening and do not save unused liquid.

For additional comfort, gently massage the gums with a clean finger or offer a chilled—not frozen—firm rubber teething ring or cool washcloth.

MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS

Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms worsen or continue for more than three days, or if you are uncertain that they are caused by teething.

Seek prompt medical care if the child has difficulty breathing, marked sleepiness, poor feeding, persistent vomiting or diarrhea, signs of dehydration, a spreading rash, mouth sores, ear discharge or significant facial or gum swelling.

A temperature of 38°C or higher in a baby younger than three months requires urgent medical assessment.

Do not administer the liquid while the child is lying flat or leave the plastic vial with a child. Keep unused doses out of reach. Do not use if the sealed pouch or unit-dose is damaged.

Avoid benzocaine-containing teething gels, aspirin on the gums and amber teething necklaces. Necklaces and bracelets can create choking and strangulation hazards.

Ask a healthcare professional before giving it to a child younger than one month, older than 30 months, or a child with a medical condition or known allergy to an ingredient.

Each 1 mL unit-dose contains the following homeopathic ingredients:

• Chamomilla vulgaris 9CH

• Phytolacca decandra 5CH

• Rheum 5CH

Non-medicinal ingredient: Purified water.

Sugar-free, dye-free, benzocaine-free, lactose-free and preservative-free.

No soy ingredient is listed in the current formula. A formal soy-free certification or shared-facility statement was not verified, so caregivers managing a severe soy allergy should confirm the current package or contact Boiron directly.

STORAGE

Store at room temperature and protect from contamination. Keep each unit-dose sealed until immediately before use. Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.
