A high-potency vitamin B12 supplement providing 5 mg—or 5,000 mcg—of methylcobalamin in each sublingual lozenge. Methylcobalamin is an active coenzyme form of B12 that supports red-blood-cell production, energy metabolism and normal nervous-system function.
 
BEST FOR
Adults with a confirmed vitamin B12 deficiency or an increased risk of deficiency, including some vegans and vegetarians, older adults and people with impaired absorption.
 
Long-term metformin, proton-pump inhibitors and other acid-reducing medications may contribute to low B12 levels. Pernicious anemia, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease and gastrointestinal surgery may also impair absorption and require medical monitoring.
 
This is a very high dose and is not necessarily appropriate for routine use when B12 status is already adequate.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults 18 years and older: Dissolve 1 lozenge under the tongue first thing in the morning, with or without food, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.
 
Do not exceed 1 lozenge daily unless professionally instructed. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond four months.
 
At the labelled dose, 60 lozenges provide a 60-day supply.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you:
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have a confirmed or suspected vitamin B12 deficiency
Have kidney disease, unexplained anemia or a neurological condition
Take metformin, acid-reducing medication or chloramphenicol
Have Leber hereditary optic neuropathy or unexplained vision loss
Are undergoing treatment for cancer or another serious medical condition
 
Do not use if you have a known allergy to cobalt or cobalamin.
 
Correcting a significant B12 deficiency should be medically monitored. Persistent fatigue, numbness, tingling, balance problems, memory changes, shortness of breath or a sore tongue may require bloodwork and should not be self-treated indefinitely.
 
Rare adverse effects may include headache, nausea, diarrhea, itching or an acne-like skin eruption. Stop use and seek medical advice if a concerning reaction develops.
 
Contains xylitol, which is extremely toxic to dogs. Keep the bottle and dropped lozenges securely away from pets. Contact a veterinarian or animal poison-control service immediately if a dog consumes any amount.
Keep out of reach of children.

Sodium stearyl fumarate, microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, xylitol, tapioca syrup and distilled water.
 
Vegan, non-GMO and labelled gluten-free. The current formula contains no listed milk, egg, fish, shellfish, peanut, tree-nut, sesame or soy ingredients.
