WHY WE STOCK IT
A single-ingredient, certified-organic castor oil made by cold-pressing fresh, whole castor beans. This extra-virgin, hexane-free oil is packaged in protective amber glass and licensed as a traditional topical oil for skin concerns, including itching.
 
BEST FOR
Adults looking for a rich topical oil for dry skin, nails or hair and scalp conditioning. It may also be used externally with a cloth and optional gentle heat as a castor-oil pack. Castor oil can moisturize and reduce hair breakage, but it is not proven to stimulate new hair growth or “detoxify” internal organs through the skin.
 
HOW TO USE IT
Adults 18 years and older: Apply up to 60 mL topically to the desired area as needed. Gentle heat may be applied if appropriate.
For a castor-oil pack, saturate—not drip—a clean cloth with oil, place it over intact skin, cover it to protect clothing and apply gentle warmth if desired. Do not sleep with an electric heating pad or apply excessive heat.
 
For label-directed use on an appropriate common wart, apply daily for at least three weeks. Confirm with our pharmacist that the growth is suitable for home treatment before use.
 
MEDICATION & SAFETY CAUTIONS
For external use only. This product is not labelled as an oral laxative and should not be swallowed. Avoid the eyes; rinse thoroughly with water if contact occurs.
Do not apply to infected, irritated, reddened, broken or freshly injured skin. Do not use on facial or genital warts, mucous membranes, moles, birthmarks or warts with hair growing from them. The label advises against use in people with diabetes or poor circulation.
 
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use during pregnancy. Stop use if irritation or an allergic reaction develops, and seek advice if the condition persists or worsens.
