WHY WE STOCK IT
A once-daily antihistamine containing 10 mg of cetirizine hydrochloride. It provides up to 24-hour relief of indoor and outdoor allergy symptoms, including sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, itchy or watery eyes, post-nasal drip, itchy nose or throat, allergic skin itching and hives.

Adults and children 12 years and older seeking convenient relief from seasonal or year-round allergy symptoms.
 
Although marketed as non-drowsy, cetirizine can still cause sleepiness in some people. Individual response should be assessed before driving or performing tasks requiring alertness.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults and children 12 years and older: Take 1 tablet every 24 hours, at any time of day.
 
Do not take more than 1 tablet in 24 hours. The 10-tablet package provides up to a 10-day supply.
 
Adults 65 years and older should use Reactine Regular Strength 5 mg or consult a physician or pharmacist. Prolonged use should only occur under a physician’s direction.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Consult a physician or pharmacist before use if you:
Have kidney or liver disease
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Take sleeping medication, sedatives, opioids, certain anxiety medications or another product that causes drowsiness
Already take another antihistamine or multi-symptom cold-and-allergy product
 
Drowsiness, sleepiness, headache and dry mouth may occur. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how cetirizine affects you. Avoid alcohol, cannabis and other sedating substances.
Stop use and consult a physician if symptoms persist, worsen or change, or if an allergic reaction to the medication occurs.
 
Reactine relieves allergy symptoms but does not treat anaphylaxis. Call 911 and use prescribed epinephrine immediately for trouble breathing, throat or tongue swelling, faintness or another severe allergic reaction.
 
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, contact a poison-control centre or obtain medical assistance immediately. Do not use if the carton is open or the sealed blister has been damaged.
 
MEDICINAL INGREDIENT
Each tablet contains:
Cetirizine hydrochloride: 10 mg
 
Cetirizine is a second-generation antihistamine that blocks the action of histamine released during an allergic response.
 
NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS AND ALLERGENS
Corn starch, hypromellose, lactose, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol, povidone and titanium dioxide.
 
Contains lactose and corn starch. Soy is not listed as an ingredient in the current Canadian formula; however, the manufacturer does not provide a complete cross-contamination statement on its product page. Customers with a severe soy or other food allergy should confirm the physical package or contact the manufacturer before use.
 
STORAGE
Store between 15 and 30 °C. Keep the tablets in their original sealed blister until needed.
