It is licensed for aromatherapy use to help relieve joint and muscle pain associated with sprains, strains and rheumatoid arthritis, and as a carminative or antispasmodic for temporary relief of digestive discomfort.
 
Its fresh, herbaceous and camphor-like aroma is suitable for occasional inhalation or properly diluted topical use.

This camphor-rich chemotype is different from some rosemary oils marketed for cosmetic hair care. The Canadian licensed uses for this product do not include treating hair loss or stimulating hair growth.
 
HOW TO USE IT
Adults:
Topical use: Mix with a vegetable carrier oil before applying it to the skin. Follow the dilution instructions in the package insert.
Steam or direct inhalation: Use undiluted as directed in the product insert.
Diffuser: Use only the amount recommended by the diffuser manufacturer in a well-ventilated space.
 
For occasional use only. Do not swallow.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Not for oral use. Accidental ingestion may cause serious poisoning. If swallowed, seek urgent medical attention or contact a poison-control centre immediately. Do not induce vomiting unless instructed by a healthcare professional.
 
Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you have epilepsy or asthma.
 
Always dilute it with a suitable vegetable carrier oil before applying it to the skin. Do not use on broken, irritated or sensitive skin. Avoid the eyes, mouth, inside the nose and other mucous membranes.
 
If contact with the eyes or mucous membranes occurs, the manufacturer advises rinsing thoroughly with vegetable oil. Obtain medical advice if irritation persists.
 
Avoid exposing treated areas to direct sunlight. Stop use if nausea, dizziness, headache, breathing difficulty, skin irritation or an allergic reaction occurs. Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
 
Keep securely out of reach of children. Do not apply it on or near the face of an infant or young child.
 
Use cautiously around pets. Never apply essential oil directly to an animal or allow a pet to lick treated skin. Avoid diffusing it around birds or in a small, poorly ventilated room; consult a veterinarian before using essential oils around cats, dogs or other pets.
 
The concentrated oil is combustible. Keep it away from flames, heat and smoking materials.

This single-ingredient formula contains no soy ingredient. It is also free from added gluten, dairy, artificial colours, fragrances and preservatives.
 
Essential oils can cause allergic contact dermatitis even when they contain no priority food allergens. Patch-test the properly diluted oil before broader topical use.
 
STORAGE
Store tightly closed at room temperature away from heat and direct sunlight. Do not use if the safety seal is missing or damaged.
