The ashwagandha dose is lower than that found in many stand-alone therapeutic formulas. This product is best viewed primarily as a magnesium supplement with added ashwagandha—not as a replacement for an individually dosed ashwagandha product.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults: Take 1 tablet once daily. It may be taken with food if stomach sensitivity occurs.
 
At the labelled dose, 30 tablets provide a 30-day supply. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 60 days.
 
Take magnesium at least a few hours before or after other medications or natural health products. A four-hour separation may be appropriate for levothyroxine, tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics and bisphosphonate osteoporosis medications; ask our pharmacist for medication-specific timing.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Avoid combining this product with alcohol, cannabis, sleeping medication, sedating antihistamines or other products that cause drowsiness.
 
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you:
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have a thyroid disorder or take thyroid medication
Have kidney disease or reduced kidney function
Have liver disease
Have an autoimmune condition or take immunosuppressant medication
Take medication for diabetes, blood pressure, anxiety or sleep
Are preparing for surgery
 
Ashwagandha may affect thyroid-hormone levels, blood glucose, blood pressure and immune activity. Magnesium can reduce the absorption of several medications when taken at the same time.
 
Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution when driving, operating machinery or performing activities requiring mental alertness until you know how the product affects you.
 
Magnesium may cause nausea, abdominal cramping or loose stools. Stop use and seek medical advice if persistent digestive symptoms, an allergic reaction or signs of liver trouble—such as yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, severe fatigue or unexplained abdominal pain—develop.
 
Do not use if the safety seal is broken or shows signs of tampering. Keep out of reach of children.

NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS AND ALLERGENS
Citric acid, croscarmellose sodium, gum arabic, hydroxypropylcellulose, hypromellose, magnesium oxide, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin, silica, sodium acetate, stearic acid and water.
 
No soy, dairy, gluten or animal-derived ingredients are identified in the current formula. The product is vegan, Non-GMO Project Verified, kosher and NSF Certified Gluten-Free.
