A traditional herbal demulcent used to coat and soothe irritation and inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract. Each vegetarian capsule provides 400 mg of slippery elm bark.
BEST FOR
Adults seeking short-term, soothing support for an irritated digestive tract. It may be considered for occasional upper digestive discomfort but should not replace assessment for persistent reflux, abdominal pain, difficulty swallowing or other ongoing symptoms.
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults: take 4 capsules three times daily with at least 250 mL (1 cup) of water. Do not take the capsules dry. At the labelled dose of 12 capsules daily, one bottle provides approximately eight days of use.
MEDICATION CAUTIONS
Slippery elm may reduce or delay the absorption of oral medications and supplements. Take it at least 1 hour before—or several hours after—prescription medication. Consult a healthcare professional before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and seek advice if symptoms persist or worsen.
