A pure, undiluted geranium essential oil with a rich floral aroma reminiscent of rose, balanced by fresh, mint-like undertones. Distilled from Egyptian Pelargonium graveolens flowers and leaves, it can be used in diffusers or properly diluted formulations for massage, skin, hair, soap and personal-care products.
 
The 50 mL bottle is suitable for regular aromatic use and small-batch cosmetic formulation.

This is a concentrated aromatic ingredient rather than a ready-to-use facial or body oil. It should not be advertised as a treatment for acne, anxiety, hormonal imbalance, menopausal symptoms or another medical condition.
 
Geranium oil is sometimes included in outdoor blends, but this product is not a Health Canada–registered insect repellent. Do not claim that it protects against mosquitoes, ticks or insect-borne illnesses.
 
HOW TO USE IT
For diffusion, add only the amount recommended by the diffuser manufacturer. Use intermittently in a well-ventilated room rather than continuously.
 
For topical use, dilute it thoroughly in a carrier oil or incorporate it into a properly formulated cosmetic product. The appropriate concentration depends on the intended application, the user’s age and skin sensitivity. Follow a tested formulation or obtain guidance from a qualified aromatherapist.
 
Patch-test the finished diluted product before wider use. Do not add undiluted essential oil directly to bathwater because it does not dissolve in water and may contact the skin at full strength.
 
Do not combine it with water alone when making a facial mist, room spray or body spray. A properly selected solubilizer and, for water-based cosmetics, an effective preservative are required.
 
SAFETY CAUTIONS
For external use only. Do not swallow. If swallowed, contact a poison-control centre promptly and do not induce vomiting unless instructed.
 
Never apply undiluted geranium oil to the skin. Avoid the eyes, mouth, inner ears, mucous membranes, broken skin and highly sensitive areas. Wash your hands after handling it.
 
The manufacturer advises avoiding use during pregnancy or while under medical care unless approved by a healthcare professional. Consult a qualified professional before use while breastfeeding, around young children or if you have asthma, eczema, fragrance sensitivity or another significant medical condition.
 
Although the manufacturer describes the oil as generally non-irritating, allergic contact dermatitis can occur in sensitive individuals. Stop use and wash the area if persistent redness, itching, burning, blistering or swelling develops.
 
Use diffusion cautiously around pets and always allow animals to leave the room. Do not apply essential oils directly to a pet or add them to its food or water. Consult a veterinarian before using geranium oil around animals.
 
Concentrated essential oil is combustible. Keep it away from heat, sparks and open flames.

ALLERGEN INFORMATION
The oil naturally contains fragrance allergens such as citronellol, geraniol, linalool and limonene. These may cause irritation or an allergic skin reaction in sensitive individuals, particularly as the oil oxidizes.
 
It contains no carrier oil and is not pre-diluted.
 
STORAGE
Keep tightly closed in its original container and store upright in a cool, dark, well-ventilated location away from sunlight, heat and flames. Limiting exposure to heat, light and air helps slow oxidation.
 
Keep securely out of reach of children and pets. Do not use the oil if its aroma, colour or consistency changes noticeably.
