WHY WE STOCK IT
A permanent level-seven neutral blonde designed to produce a natural-looking medium-blonde finish without strongly golden, copper or ash undertones. As an “N” or natural shade, it is particularly suited to grey coverage and provides vibrant, long-lasting colour.
 
The vegan and cruelty-free formula is made without ammonia or parabens, but it remains an oxidative permanent hair dye and contains ingredients capable of causing serious allergic reactions.
 
BEST FOR
Natural dark-blonde to medium-blonde hair requiring an even, neutral result or coverage of grey and white strands.
 
On untreated hair, Tints of Nature permanent colour may provide approximately one level of lift. It will not turn naturally dark-brown or black hair medium blonde, and permanent dye generally cannot lighten previously coloured hair. Greater lightening requires a separate lightener and may be best handled professionally.
 
Very long or thick hair may require two boxes. Perform a strand test before colouring to preview the result.
 
HOW TO USE IT
Complete the manufacturer’s skin-sensitivity test at least 48 hours before every application, even if this product or another hair dye has been used safely before.
 
For a full-head application:
Use the enclosed Charcoal Pre-Colour Shampoo.
Rinse, towel-dry and comb the hair.
Put on the enclosed gloves.
Empty the Colour Gel into the Colour Fix bottle, secure the applicator cap and shake thoroughly.
Apply the mixture immediately and evenly from the roots through the lengths.
Cover with the enclosed cap and process for 30 minutes, or 40 minutes for resistant grey coverage.
Add a small amount of warm water and gently work the colour into a lather.
Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear.
Use the enclosed shampoo and conditioner, rinse and style as usual.
 
For a root touch-up, apply the mixture to the roots first. Apply the remaining colour to the lengths and ends during the final 10 minutes.
 
Follow the enclosed instructions exactly. Do not save or reuse mixed colour.
 
SAFETY CAUTIONS
Hair colourants can cause severe allergic reactions. This product contains p-phenylenediamine (PPD), hydrogen peroxide and other oxidative colourants.
 
Do not use if:
You are younger than 16 years
You have a rash or a sensitive, irritated or damaged scalp
You have previously reacted to hair dye
You have reacted to a temporary black-henna tattoo
The 48-hour sensitivity test causes itching, redness, swelling or irritation
 
Temporary black-henna tattoos may increase the risk of a future hair-dye allergy. A negative sensitivity test does not guarantee that a reaction cannot occur.
 
Wear the supplied gloves. Avoid contact with the eyes, face and skin. Do not use on eyelashes, eyebrows, facial hair or for any purpose other than colouring scalp hair. If the product enters the eyes, rinse immediately and continuously with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
 
Rinse immediately if intense burning, itching or irritation develops. Seek emergency care for facial or eye swelling, widespread hives, dizziness, difficulty breathing or throat tightness.
 
Use in a well-ventilated area. Keep away from children and do not exceed the instructed processing time.
 
KIT AND INGREDIENT INFORMATION
The kit contains Colour Gel, Colour Fix developer, Charcoal Pre-Colour Shampoo, after-colour shampoo, conditioner, gloves and a processing cap.
 
The 7N Colour Gel contains PPD, 2-methylresorcinol, 4-chlororesorcinol, m-aminophenol, 2-amino-4-hydroxyethylaminoanisole sulphate, ethanolamine, fragrance, hydrolyzed wheat protein and botanical extracts.
 
The Colour Fix developer contains hydrogen peroxide.
 
The shampoo and conditioner contain fragrance and hydrolyzed wheat protein. The conditioner also contains sweet-almond oil and lecithin.
 
Vegan, cruelty-free and made in the United Kingdom. Marketed as ammonia- and paraben-free. These exclusions do not make the formula hypoallergenic, chemical-free or risk-free.
 
 
STORAGE
Store unopened in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep all components in their original package until use. Never store a mixed colour-and-developer solution because pressure can build inside a closed container.
