An easy-to-use liquid vitamin D3 supplement providing 400 IU in a single drop. The vitamin D3 is carried in coconut-derived medium-chain triglyceride oil and lightly flavoured with orange.
 
Vitamin D helps the body absorb and use calcium and phosphorus and supports the development and maintenance of healthy bones and teeth.
 
BEST FOR
Infants and children who need a simple daily vitamin D supplement. A 400 IU dose is commonly recommended for breastfed infants because breast milk alone generally does not provide enough vitamin D.
 
Formula contains vitamin D, so parents of exclusively formula-fed or combination-fed infants should ask a healthcare professional whether an additional supplement is required.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Infants and children from birth onward: Take 1 drop once daily.
Dispense one drop onto a clean spoon, the caregiver’s clean nipple, a pacifier or a small amount of cool food or liquid that the child will consume completely.
 
Do not place a full dropper in the child’s mouth or confuse one drop with one dropperful. One drop provides the complete labelled daily dose.
 
The 15 mL bottle contains approximately 450 drops, although the actual number may vary with dispensing technique.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Check all multivitamins, calcium products, infant formulas and other supplements for vitamin D to avoid unintentionally giving duplicate doses.
 
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if the child has kidney disease, kidney stones, elevated blood calcium, sarcoidosis, a parathyroid disorder or another condition affecting calcium or vitamin D metabolism.
 
Ask our pharmacist before combining vitamin D with a thiazide diuretic, digoxin or a high-dose calcium supplement.
 
Excessive vitamin D can cause elevated calcium levels. Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, constipation, poor appetite, unusual thirst, frequent urination, weakness or confusion. Seek medical advice if excessive amounts are accidentally given.
 
Keep out of reach of children and do not use if the safety seal is broken.

NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS AND ALLERGENS
D-alpha-tocopherol derived from soy, medium-chain triglycerides derived from coconut and orange flavour.
 
Contains soy. This product should not be advertised as soy-free and may be unsuitable for a child with a soy allergy without professional guidance.
 
Non-GMO and labelled free from dairy, gluten, wheat, yeast and nuts. Contains no artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners.
 
STORAGE
Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight.
 
Refrigeration is not required. Do not use if the safety seal is broken.
