HOW TO TAKE IT
Adolescents and adults aged nine and older: Take 1 capsule daily, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
 
It may be taken with food if you have a sensitive stomach. At the labelled dose, 240 capsules provide a 240-day supply.
 
Avoid combining it with other magnesium supplements, antacids or laxatives containing magnesium unless your total daily intake has been reviewed.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you have kidney disease, impaired kidney function, a significant heart-rhythm condition or another serious medical condition. Reduced kidney function can allow magnesium to accumulate to unsafe levels.
 
Magnesium can reduce the absorption of several medications. Unless your prescriber provides different instructions:
Separate levothyroxine by at least 4 hours
Separate tetracycline and quinolone antibiotics according to your pharmacist’s instructions
Do not take it at the same time as oral bisphosphonates used for osteoporosis
Separate it from iron and other mineral supplements by a few hours
 
Ask a healthcare professional before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or before giving it to a child taking prescription medication.
 
Possible effects include nausea, abdominal discomfort or loose stools. Stop or reduce the dose and seek advice if symptoms persist.
 
Seek prompt medical attention for severe weakness, confusion, difficulty breathing, unusually low blood pressure or a slow or irregular heartbeat—particularly if you have kidney disease or have taken more than directed.
Keep out of reach of young children. Do not use if the security seal is broken.

Despite the product name, this is not exclusively fully chelated magnesium bis-glycinate. The medicinal blend includes magnesium oxide, and the label does not state how much of the 200 mg comes from each form. Customers specifically seeking a fully reacted, oxide-free bis-glycinate should choose a product that clearly confirms this on its label.
