WHY WE STOCK IT
A Canadian-made topical cream containing 10% witch-hazel bark, traditionally used in herbal medicine as an astringent to help treat varicose veins. Its non-greasy formula is intended to reduce associated discomfort and improve the veins’ appearance with consistent use.
 
BEST FOR
Adults experiencing mild aching, heaviness or discomfort associated with visible varicose veins. It may provide symptomatic and cosmetic support, but it does not eliminate damaged veins or correct the underlying venous insufficiency.
 
Compression, regular walking, leg elevation and medical assessment may still be necessary depending on symptom severity.
 
HOW TO USE IT
Apply a small amount to the affected area twice daily or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Massage gently into intact skin until absorbed.
 
For best results, the manufacturer recommends consistent daily application for at least 6–12 weeks. The area may be washed 30 minutes after application if needed.
 
MEDICATION & SAFETY CAUTIONS
For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to open wounds, bleeding veins, ulcers, infected skin or areas with severe irritation. Wash hands after application.
 
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Patch-test a small area first if you have sensitive skin or allergies to botanical ingredients. Stop use if significant redness, burning, blistering or a rash develops.
 
Seek urgent medical assessment for sudden one-sided leg swelling or pain, warmth, redness, chest pain, shortness of breath or coughing blood, as these may indicate a blood clot. Prompt assessment is also needed for a bleeding varicose vein, skin ulcer, increasing discoloration or persistent swelling.
 
INGREDIENT INFORMATION
Medicinal ingredient: Hamamelis virginiana—witch-hazel—bark 10%.
Non-medicinal ingredients include water, arnica flower extract, butylene glycol, cetearyl olivate, cetyl palmitate, chlorphenesin, lemon fruit extract, carnauba wax, dicaprylyl carbonate, ethoxydiglycol, glycerin, sunflower seed oil, lecithin, masterwort leaf extract, polyacrylate-13, polyisobutene, polysorbate 20, black-currant seed oil, rosemary leaf extract, raspberry seed oil, butcher’s-broom root extract, rutin, elderflower extract, sodium phytate, goldenrod extract, sorbitan olivate, sorbitan palmitate and xanthan gum.
