A focused antioxidant formula providing 600 mg of N-acetyl-L-cysteine, supported by glycine and selenium. NAC and glycine are precursors used by the body to produce glutathione, an important intracellular antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative stress.

Adults seeking antioxidant and glutathione-production support. Selenium also supports normal thyroid function and contributes to the maintenance of good health.
 
Although NAC is used medically in specific circumstances, this supplement is not a substitute for emergency treatment of an acetaminophen overdose or prescribed therapy for a respiratory, liver or mental-health condition.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults 19 years and older: Take 1 capsule daily with a meal. At the labelled dose, 120 capsules provide a 120-day supply.
 
MEDICATION & SAFETY CAUTIONS
Do not use while taking an antibiotic or nitroglycerin. NAC can intensify nitroglycerin-related headaches and low blood pressure. Ask our pharmacist when the product may be restarted after an antibiotic course.
 
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding or if you have a history of kidney stones. Professional guidance is also appropriate for people with asthma, a bleeding disorder or an upcoming medical procedure.
 
Check your combined selenium intake if you also use a multivitamin, thyroid formula or separate selenium supplement. Stop use and seek advice if nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, wheezing, dizziness or persistent headache develops.
For a suspected acetaminophen overdose, contact 911 or the Ontario Poison Centre immediately. Do not attempt to treat an overdose with retail NAC capsules.
