WHY WE STOCK IT
A Health Canada–licensed liquid herbal formula containing saw palmetto, nettle, bilberry, juniper and six additional herbs. It is used in herbal medicine to help relieve urinary symptoms associated with mild to moderate benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), including weak urine flow, incomplete emptying and frequent urination.
 
BEST FOR
Adult men who have been assessed for urinary symptoms related to an enlarged prostate and prefer a liquid herbal formula. The spearmint flavour helps balance the taste of the concentrated herbal extracts.
 
This product does not shrink the prostate, treat prostate cancer or replace a medical assessment, prostate examination, PSA testing or prescribed BPH medication.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults: Shake well and take 1 mL three times daily. Follow the complete directions on the label.
 
At the labelled dose of 3 mL daily, the 100 mL bottle provides approximately a 33-day supply.
 
Store in the original container away from children and direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate.
 
MEDICATION & SAFETY CAUTIONS
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use to exclude prostate cancer and if you:
Take an anticoagulant, antiplatelet medication, aspirin or another salicylate
Have asthma, a peptic ulcer, liver disease, blood-pressure concerns or cardiovascular-related swelling
Take prescription medications or natural health products, particularly those with sedative effects
 
Do not use if you have diabetes, kidney disease or an allergy to aspirin or other salicylates. The white-willow bark contains salicylate-related compounds, while goldenseal can interact with numerous medications.
 
The formula contains ethanol. Avoid combining it with alcohol, sedatives or other products that can cause drowsiness unless approved by a healthcare professional.
 
Stop use and consult a healthcare practitioner if nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, indigestion, heartburn or diarrhea occurs.
 
Seek prompt medical assessment for blood in the urine, fever, painful urination, urinary spasms, inability to urinate or rapidly worsening symptoms. Persistent nighttime urination or weak flow should not automatically be assumed to result from an enlarged prostate.
