The formula is iron-free because many older men do not require supplemental iron unless a deficiency has been confirmed. It is not a substitute for a balanced diet, exercise, recommended health screening or treatment for an established deficiency or medical condition.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults: Take 3 capsules daily with food, a few hours before or after other medications, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
 
The three capsules may be taken together or divided between meals if preferred. At the labelled dose, 90 capsules provide a 30-day supply.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you:
Take warfarin, another anticoagulant or an antiplatelet medication
Take blood-pressure, diabetes or anti-inflammatory medication
Have diabetes, a gastrointestinal lesion, gastritis or a stomach ulcer
Have an estrogen-dependent cancer or a history of non-melanoma skin cancer
Are preparing for surgery
Have a thyroid condition or take thyroid medication
Have kidney or liver disease
Have urinary symptoms, an enlarged prostate or a history of prostate cancer
 
Vitamin K2 can interfere with warfarin therapy. Saw palmetto, vitamin E, CoQ10 and other ingredients may also affect medications or bleeding risk.
 
Calcium, magnesium and zinc can reduce the absorption of levothyroxine, bisphosphonates and certain antibiotics. Separate this multivitamin from levothyroxine by at least four hours and ask our pharmacist about the correct spacing for other medications.
 
The daily serving contains 50 mg of vitamin B6, 30 mg of zinc, 500 mcg of iodine, 200 mcg of selenium and 1 mg of folic acid. Avoid combining it with another high-potency multivitamin or separate high-dose products containing these nutrients unless professionally recommended. Prolonged excessive vitamin B6 intake may cause tingling, numbness or nerve injury.
 
Betaine hydrochloride may aggravate gastritis, reflux or ulcers. People sensitive to nicotinic acid may experience temporary warmth, flushing, itching or redness.
 
Stop use and seek advice if unusual bruising, bleeding, severe digestive discomfort, numbness, tingling or another concerning reaction develops.
 
Saw palmetto does not replace assessment for prostate symptoms. Seek medical advice for blood in the urine, painful urination, inability to urinate, rapidly worsening urine flow, unexplained weight loss or persistent nighttime urination.
