Ask our pharmacist before combining L-tryptophan with an antidepressant, including an SSRI, SNRI, MAO inhibitor or tricyclic antidepressant, or with tramadol, lithium, dextromethorphan, linezolid, 5-HTP, St. John’s wort or another product that increases serotonin.
 
Drowsiness, dizziness, nausea or headache may occur in some people. Use caution before driving and avoid combining it with alcohol, cannabis, sleep medicines or other sedatives until you know how it affects you.
 
Stop use and obtain urgent medical advice if agitation, confusion, heavy sweating, tremor, diarrhea, muscle rigidity, fever or a rapid heartbeat develops, particularly when taking another serotonergic product.
