A pH-balanced, plant-based cleanser developed for washing reusable silicone menstrual cups. Its gentle lather removes menstrual residue without the harsh household cleaners, oils or heavily fragranced soaps that may damage medical-grade silicone.
 
This 177 mL bottle is an older package size; the current DivaWash is commonly sold in a 118 mL tube.

DivaWash helps with routine washing but does not replace the initial sanitizing directions supplied with the cup. It is not a contraceptive, vaginal medication or treatment for infection, odour, itching or abnormal discharge.
 
HOW TO USE IT
Wash your hands before handling a menstrual cup or disc.
Rinse the cup or disc with clean water.
Apply a small amount of DivaWash and work it into a lather.
Wash the entire surface carefully, including the rim, stem or removal tab and any small air holes.
Rinse extremely well with warm water until no cleanser remains.
Reinsert immediately or allow it to dry completely before storing it in a breathable pouch.
 
Before first use, DIVA recommends sanitizing its cup or disc in an open pot of continuously boiling water for 5–10 minutes. Use enough water to prevent the pot from boiling dry, keep the product from resting on the hot bottom and never leave the pot unattended.
 
Follow the instructions supplied with the specific cup or disc, as care requirements can differ between brands and materials.
 
SAFETY CAUTIONS
For external use only. Do not swallow, douche or introduce the cleanser directly into the vaginal canal. Avoid contact with the eyes; rinse thoroughly with water if contact occurs.
 
Rinse the cup or disc completely before insertion. Residual cleanser may cause irritation.
The formula contains orange oil and cocamidopropyl betaine, both of which may irritate sensitive skin or cause contact allergy in some individuals. Stop use if burning, itching, redness, swelling or unusual discomfort develops.
 
Seek medical assessment for persistent vaginal irritation, unusual discharge or odour, pelvic pain, fever, sores or recurrent symptoms rather than repeatedly cleansing the area.
 
Do not clean a DIVA Cup with bleach, hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol, vinegar, baking soda, dishwashing detergent, oil-based soap or essential oils. Do not place it in a dishwasher. These methods may damage the silicone or leave irritating residues.
 
Replace a reusable cup or disc if it develops tears, a sticky or powdery surface, persistent odour or other signs of deterioration. Keep the cleanser out of reach of children.
 
INGREDIENT INFORMATION
Water, cocamidopropyl betaine, disodium laureth sulfosuccinate, sodium lauryl sulfoacetate, sodium methyl 2-sulfolaurate, disodium 2-sulfolaurate, glyceryl caprylate/caprate, sodium chloride, potassium sorbate and orange oil.
 
The formula is pH-balanced and made in Canada. It contains several coconut-derived cleansing ingredients.
 
Although some listings describe DivaWash as fragrance-free, the 177 mL formula contains orange oil and has a light natural citrus scent. It should therefore not be advertised as completely fragrance-free.
 
ALLERGEN AND DIETARY INFORMATION
No soy ingredient is identified in the listed 177 mL formula. Manufacturing cross-contact controls were not available, so the product should not be guaranteed soy-free for someone with a severe allergy.
 
Contains orange oil and coconut-derived ingredients. Coconut-derived surfactants do not necessarily contain intact coconut protein, but customers with serious coconut allergy or known reactions to cocamidopropyl betaine should consult a healthcare professional before use.
DIVA describes the plant-based formula as vegan and cruelty-free.
 
STORAGE
Keep the cap closed and store the bottle at room temperature away from excessive heat and direct sunlight. Do not dilute the cleanser or add other ingredients to the bottle.
 
Do not use it if the packaging is damaged or the cleanser develops an unusual colour, odour or consistency. Check the physical bottle for an expiry or period-after-opening symbol.
