This product cannot lighten dark hair or remove artificial colour. Results may be brighter or less even on bleached, highlighted, porous or predominantly grey hair. Perform a strand test before colouring the entire head.
 
Henna-based pigment can fade gradually but may remain on porous hair and be difficult to remove completely.
 
HOW TO USE IT
Follow the complete directions enclosed with the physical package. General preparation directions are:
Protect clothing and nearby surfaces, and put on disposable gloves.
Shampoo the hair and towel dry it. Do not apply conditioner before colouring unless the package directs otherwise.
Place the required amount of powder in a non-metal bowl.
Gradually add warm water while stirring until a smooth, creamy paste forms.
Apply evenly to the hair from the roots to the ends, ensuring that each section is thoroughly coated.
Cover the hair with a plastic cap to keep the mixture warm and moist.
Leave it on for approximately 30–40 minutes. A longer time may deepen the result, but do not exceed the package directions.
Rinse thoroughly with warm water and shampoo as directed on the package.
 
The colour may continue developing during the first 24–48 hours. Wait until it has fully developed before evaluating the final shade.
 
Mix only what is needed for one application. Do not return wet or contaminated powder to the original package.
 
SAFETY CAUTIONS
For external use only. Complete a skin-patch test at least 48 hours before every application and perform a separate strand test. Botanical ingredients can cause allergic reactions, and a negative patch test does not guarantee that a reaction will not occur.
 
Do not use on an irritated, injured, infected or severely inflamed scalp. Avoid contact with the eyes, eyebrows, eyelashes, mouth and broken skin. If the product enters the eyes, rinse immediately and continuously with lukewarm water.
 
Stop use and rinse thoroughly if intense burning, itching, blistering or marked redness develops. Seek urgent medical attention for facial or throat swelling, wheezing, faintness or difficulty breathing.
 
Henna colour can interact unpredictably with bleach, permanent colour, relaxers or perms—particularly when the composition of a previous botanical colour is unknown. Show the complete ingredient label to your stylist and perform a strand test before any subsequent chemical treatment. Do not bleach over henna-treated hair without professional guidance.
 
Wear gloves because the paste may stain skin, nails, towels, clothing, grout and other porous surfaces. Open and mix the powder carefully to avoid inhaling airborne dust.
