WHY WE STOCK IT
An ammonia-free permanent hair-colour kit that creates a rich brunette shade with warm, earthy-red reflections. The vegan, cruelty-free formula combines permanent pigments with plant-derived ingredients and conditioning extracts for vibrant, long-lasting colour.
 
BEST FOR
People with medium-brown, dark-brown or naturally red-toned hair who want to add a noticeable red reflect while retaining brunette depth. It can also be used to blend or cover grey hair.
 
The final result depends on the starting colour, previous chemical treatments, hair porosity and percentage of grey. Perform a strand test before colouring the entire head. Resistant or predominantly grey hair may require the full 40-minute processing time or professional colour guidance.
 
This product can darken hair or lift the natural base colour by approximately one level. It cannot substantially lighten dark hair or remove previously applied permanent colour.
 
HOW TO USE IT
Complete a skin-sensitivity test 48 hours before every application, even if the product has been used safely before. Follow the test directions in the enclosed leaflet exactly.
 
For a full-head application:
Wash with the enclosed Charcoal Pre-Colour Shampoo.
Rinse, towel-dry and gently comb the hair.
Put on the supplied gloves.
Empty the Colour Gel into the Colour Fix applicator bottle, close it securely and shake thoroughly.
Apply the mixture immediately, beginning at the roots and working through the lengths.
Cover with the supplied cap and leave on for 30 minutes, or 40 minutes for grey coverage.
Add a little warm water and gently lather, then rinse until the water runs clear.
Wash with the enclosed Hydrate Shampoo.
Apply the Hydrate Conditioner, leave it on for approximately five minutes and rinse thoroughly.
 
For a root touch-up, apply the colour to the roots first. Distribute the remaining mixture through the mid-lengths and ends for the final 10 minutes.
 
Mixed colour must be used immediately and must never be stored for another application.
 
SAFETY CAUTIONS
Hair colourants can cause severe allergic reactions. This formula contains p-phenylenediamine (PPD), related oxidative colourants and hydrogen peroxide. “Natural,” “organic” and “ammonia-free” do not mean allergy-free.
 
Do not use if you:
Are younger than 16
Have an irritated, injured, inflamed or sunburned scalp
Have previously reacted to hair dye
Have previously reacted to a temporary black-henna tattoo
Have experienced swelling, blistering, breathing difficulty or another severe reaction after colouring your hair
 
Do not use on eyelashes, eyebrows, facial hair or any area other than scalp hair. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin, wear the supplied gloves and use in a well-ventilated area. If the product enters the eyes, rinse immediately and continuously with water.
 
Stop the application and rinse immediately if intense burning, swelling, blistering, dizziness or breathing difficulty develops. Seek urgent medical attention for facial or throat swelling, wheezing, faintness or difficulty breathing.
 
Ask a healthcare professional before colouring during pregnancy, particularly during the first trimester, or while receiving chemotherapy, radiation treatment or therapy affecting the skin or immune system.
 
Keep out of reach of children. Do not combine this colour with products from another manufacturer.

INGREDIENT INFORMATION
The Canadian 130 mL Colour Gel listing includes PEG-2 soyamine, water, aloe, rapeseedamide, denatured alcohol, propanediol, oleic acid, ethanolamine, fragrance, hydrolyzed wheat protein, p-phenylenediamine, sulphites, p-aminophenol, 2-methylresorcinol, related oxidative colourants, comfrey, orange, grapefruit and tocopherol.
 
The Colour Fix contains water, chamomile extract, hydrogen peroxide, phenoxyethanol, benzyl alcohol, potassium sorbate, tocopherol, etidronic acid and polyquaternium-10.
 
The included shampoo and conditioner contain cleansing and conditioning ingredients with extracts or oils that may include aloe, chamomile, calendula, green tea, sunflower, black oat, comfrey, jojoba, sweet almond and shea butter.

Vegan, vegetarian, cruelty-free and made in Britain.
 
The Canadian 130 mL ingredient listing contains PEG-2 soyamine and is not soy-free. It also lists hydrolyzed wheat protein, sweet-almond oil, fragrance, sulphites and several botanical extracts.
 
Newer manufacturer listings show formula differences, including PEG-2 oleamine in place of PEG-2 soyamine. Always check the physical box for the current ingredients, especially for customers with soy, wheat, almond, fragrance, sulphite or hair-dye allergies.
 
STORAGE
Store the unopened components in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and children. Never seal or store mixed colour because pressure can build inside the container. Dispose of unused mixed product according to the package directions.
