WHY WE STOCK IT
A Canadian-made, seven-herb tincture traditionally used to help expel intestinal worms and eliminate ringworm. It combines black walnut hull with spilanthes, usnea, Oregon grape, sweet fennel, white atractylodes and licorice.
 
BEST FOR
Adults seeking short-term herbal support for a suspected intestinal parasitic infection or ringworm after obtaining an appropriate assessment. It should not be used as a routine “parasite cleanse,” since digestive symptoms such as bloating, fatigue or irregular stools do not confirm a parasitic infection.
 
Ringworm is a fungal skin infection—not an intestinal worm—and may require a proven topical or prescription antifungal treatment.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults: Take 2 mL—approximately 60 drops—three times daily in a little water on an empty stomach.
 
This product is intended for occasional use only. Consult a healthcare practitioner before using it for longer than 14 days. At the labelled dose of 6 mL daily, the 100 mL bottle contains approximately 16 days of product.
 
EDUCATION & SAFETY CAUTIONS
Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, if you have a liver or gallbladder disorder, or if you are allergic to anethole or plants in the carrot family, including fennel, celery, parsley or dill.
 
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you have a tree-nut allergy or take prescription medication. Oregon grape contains berberine-related compounds, while licorice may affect blood pressure, potassium and certain medications. Ask our pharmacist before combining it with blood-pressure medication, diuretics, digoxin, corticosteroids, diabetes medication, blood thinners or immunosuppressants.
 
Stop use and seek medical advice if yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, unusual fatigue, persistent nausea, abdominal pain or another symptom of liver trouble develops. Discontinue use if an allergic reaction occurs.
 
Seek medical assessment if symptoms persist or worsen, if worms or blood appear in the stool, or if there is unexplained weight loss, fever, severe abdominal pain, persistent diarrhea or dehydration. This tincture contains alcohol.
