WHY WE STOCK IT
A vegan, gelatin-free ashwagandha gummy traditionally used in Ayurveda as a rejuvenative tonic, sleep aid and nervine. It is also used in herbal medicine as an adaptogen to help increase energy and resistance to stress.
 
Each gummy provides 200 mg of a concentrated 15:1 ashwagandha-root extract, equivalent to 3,000 mg of dried root.
 
BEST FOR
Adults experiencing stress-related fatigue who prefer a chewable alternative to capsules or tinctures. Ashwagandha may also support relaxation, sleep and general resilience during periods of stress.
 
It is not intended to treat an anxiety disorder, depression, chronic fatigue, insomnia or an underlying hormonal or thyroid condition.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults: Take 2 gummies daily, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
 
The daily dose provides 400 mg of ashwagandha extract, equivalent to 6,000 mg of dried root. At this dose, 60 gummies provide a 30-day supply.
 
Ashwagandha’s effects may develop gradually. Use consistently as directed rather than increasing the dose for a faster effect.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a thyroid disorder, autoimmune condition, diabetes, low blood pressure, stomach ulcer or liver condition, or are preparing for surgery.
 
Ask our pharmacist before combining it with thyroid medication, diabetes or blood-pressure medication, immunosuppressants, sleeping pills, benzodiazepines, sedating antihistamines, antidepressants or other calming supplements.
 
Ashwagandha may cause drowsiness. Use caution when driving, operating machinery or combining it with alcohol, cannabis or medications that reduce alertness.
 
Possible adverse effects include stomach discomfort, nausea, diarrhea, headache or drowsiness.
 
Rare cases of liver injury have been reported with ashwagandha products. Stop use and seek medical advice if yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, unusual fatigue, persistent nausea, abdominal pain or widespread itching develops.
 
Stop use and seek immediate assistance for facial swelling, hives, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Keep out of reach of children.

NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS AND ALLERGENS
Tapioca syrup, cane sugar, water, pectin, citric acid, sodium citrate, natural flavours, anthocyanins, coconut oil, stevioside and carnauba wax.
 
Contains added sugars from tapioca syrup and cane sugar. Customers monitoring blood glucose or carbohydrate intake should consider these ingredients when choosing between gummies and capsules.
