HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults and children 12 years and older: Follow the package directions, using the lowest effective dose. It is commonly taken at bedtime with a full glass of water for relief the following morning. Do not use for longer than seven consecutive days unless directed by a healthcare professional.
 
MEDICATION & SAFETY CAUTIONS
Take senna at least two hours before or after other oral medications. Ask your pharmacist before use if you take digoxin, diuretics, corticosteroids or medicines that can affect electrolyte levels. Do not use if you have an intestinal blockage, inflammatory bowel disease, severe dehydration, unexplained abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting. Consult a healthcare professional before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Abdominal cramping or diarrhea may occur. Stop use and seek medical advice for rectal bleeding, severe pain, persistent diarrhea, no bowel movement after use or constipation lasting longer than one week.
