WHY WE STOCK IT
A non-greasy, medicated massage lotion containing 5% menthol and 3% methyl salicylate. It provides temporary relief from sore muscles, sports-related muscle discomfort, pain and swelling while offering enough glide for targeted or full-body massage.
 
The formula also contains arnica, calendula, chamomile, aloe vera and other botanical extracts, along with sweet almond oil to help leave the skin feeling soft and moisturized.
 
BEST FOR
Adults and children over two years of age experiencing temporary muscle soreness, stiffness or minor aches following physical activity. It may also be suitable for massage therapists seeking an extended-workability lotion that does not leave an excessively greasy residue.
 
This product provides temporary symptom relief. It does not treat fractures, serious injuries, inflammatory arthritis or the underlying cause of persistent pain.
 
HOW TO USE IT
Apply a thin, even layer to the affected area up to 3–4 times daily. Rub or massage it into the skin until the lotion disappears.
 
An adult should supervise application for children 2–12 years old. Wash hands after applying unless the hands are the treated area.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
For external use only. Avoid the eyes, mouth and other mucous membranes. Do not apply to wounds, damaged skin or severely irritated areas.
 
Do not use with a heating pad, hot-water bottle or other external heat. Do not tightly bandage the treated area. Heat and tight coverings can increase absorption and cause serious irritation or skin burns.
 
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you:
Take warfarin, another anticoagulant or an antiplatelet medication
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have an allergy or sensitivity to aspirin, salicylates, menthol, arnica, chamomile or almonds
Plan to apply it over a large area or use another medicated pain-relief cream
 
Stop use and obtain medical help immediately if pain, significant swelling, blistering or severe burning develops. Discontinue use if a rash or hypersensitivity reaction occurs.
 
Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms worsen, remain after seven days or disappear and return within a few days. Seek prompt assessment for severe pain, major swelling, weakness, numbness, fever, inability to use the affected limb or pain following a significant injury.
 
Methyl salicylate can be dangerous if swallowed. If accidental ingestion or excessive use occurs, contact a poison-control centre immediately. Keep securely out of reach of children.

Extracts of marigold flower, arnica flower, gentian root, sweet clover, St. John’s wort, lemon-balm leaf, juniper berry, pine needle and chamomile flower; purified water, sweet almond oil, vegetable glyceryl stearate, stearic acid, cetyl alcohol, glycerin, aloe vera, edetate disodium, carbomer 940, triethanolamine, cucumber extract, rosemary-leaf extract, citric acid, sodium hydroxide and benzoic acid.
 
Contains sweet almond oil. The manufacturer identifies the product as non-GMO but does not specifically label it soy-free. Customers with a severe soy allergy should confirm the source of the vegetable-derived ingredients with New Roots Herbal before use.
