Sinusalia is a homeopathic product, not a conventional decongestant, antihistamine, pain reliever or antibiotic. High-quality clinical evidence has not established homeopathy as an effective treatment for sinusitis. It should not delay appropriate assessment or evidence-based care when symptoms are severe, worsening or persistent.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Allow the tablets to dissolve under the tongue.
 
Adults and children 12 years and older: Take 2 tablets every 2 hours, up to 6 times daily. Reduce the frequency as symptoms improve.
 
Children 4–11 years: Take 1 tablet 3 times daily. Reduce the frequency as symptoms improve.
 
Do not give to children younger than four unless specifically directed by a healthcare practitioner.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Consult a healthcare practitioner if fever is present or if symptoms persist or worsen for more than 48 hours.
 
Seek prompt medical assessment for:
Severe facial pain or swelling
Swelling or redness around an eye
Vision changes, severe headache, confusion or neck stiffness
Trouble breathing, dehydration or persistent vomiting
Symptoms lasting longer than 10 days without improvement
Symptoms that improve and then become substantially worse
Recurrent sinus problems or a weakened immune system
 
A bacterial sinus infection cannot be diagnosed from mucus colour alone.
 
Sinusalia does not replace an antibiotic when one is clinically indicated.
 
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Supervise young children while the tablet dissolves to reduce the risk of choking.
 
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the blister seal is broken.
 
INGREDIENT AND ALLERGEN INFORMATION
Medicinal ingredients:
Belladonna: 3 CH
Sanguinaria canadensis: 3 CH
Spigelia anthelmia: 3 CH
 
These ingredients are present in homeopathic dilutions.
Non-medicinal ingredients: Lactose, croscarmellose sodium and magnesium stearate.
 
Contains lactose and may not be appropriate for someone with galactosaemia or a medically diagnosed intolerance to small amounts of lactose. Milk-protein allergy is different from lactose intolerance; customers with a severe milk allergy should confirm manufacturing information with Boiron.
