Calcium D-glucarate is commonly promoted for glucuronidation, hormone metabolism and liver “detoxification.” These biological mechanisms are plausible, but human clinical evidence remains limited. It should not be advertised as removing toxins, lowering estrogen, treating hormone imbalance or preventing cancer.
 
This formula provides only 150 mg of elemental calcium per daily dose and is not a complete bone-health supplement or a replacement for adequate dietary calcium and vitamin D.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults: Take 2 capsules daily with meals, a few hours before or after medications and other natural health products, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
 
At the labelled dose, 60 capsules provide a 30-day supply.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you:
Take prescription medication, particularly hormone therapy, hormonal contraception, tamoxifen or another medication for a hormone-sensitive condition
Have breast, uterine, ovarian, prostate or another hormone-sensitive cancer
Are receiving chemotherapy or other cancer treatment
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have kidney disease, kidney stones or high blood calcium
Are preparing for surgery
 
Calcium D-glucarate may theoretically alter glucuronidation and the elimination of certain medications. Taking it a few hours apart may help with direct mineral-binding interactions but may not prevent an effect on drug metabolism. Have the complete combination reviewed rather than relying only on dose separation.
 
Possible adverse effects may include stomach discomfort, gas or changes in bowel movements. Stop use and seek professional advice if a persistent or unexpected reaction develops.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the safety seal is broken.
