WHY WE STOCK IT
An iron-free multivitamin and mineral formula providing 28 essential nutrients in two easy-to-take vegetable capsules daily. It supports general health, immune function, energy metabolism, bone health, red-blood-cell formation and antioxidant protection.
Because it contains no iron, it offers flexibility for adults who do not require supplemental iron or who take iron separately based on bloodwork.
BEST FOR
Adults 19 years and older seeking a comprehensive everyday multivitamin to help fill nutritional gaps.
This formula is suitable for both men and women but is not designed to replace a prenatal vitamin. It also provides only modest amounts of calcium, magnesium and vitamin D, so it should not be considered a complete bone-health supplement.
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults: Take 2 capsules daily with food, a few hours before or after medications and other natural health products.
The capsules may be taken together or divided between two meals. At the labelled dose, 60 capsules provide a 30-day supply.
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you:
- Are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Take warfarin or another blood thinner
- Have a history of non-melanoma skin cancer
- Have thyroid disease or take thyroid medication
- Have kidney or liver disease
- Take antibiotics, bisphosphonates or several other supplements
Vitamin K1 may interfere with warfarin. Maintain a consistent intake of vitamin K and do not change supplementation without discussing it with the healthcare professional monitoring your INR.
Calcium, magnesium and zinc can reduce the absorption of levothyroxine, bisphosphonates and certain antibiotics. Separate this multivitamin from levothyroxine by at least four hours. Ask our pharmacist about the required spacing for other medications.
The full daily dose contains 50 mg of vitamin B6. Avoid combining it with another high-potency B-complex or multivitamin. Prolonged excessive vitamin B6 intake may cause tingling, burning, numbness or nerve injury. Stop use and seek medical advice if these symptoms develop.
This formula contains preformed vitamin A as retinyl acetate. Anyone who is pregnant or planning pregnancy should have their complete vitamin A intake reviewed before use.
A multivitamin does not replace medical assessment for persistent fatigue, hair loss, weakness or other possible deficiency symptoms. Bloodwork may be needed to identify iron, vitamin B12, thyroid or other concerns.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the safety seal is broken.
