WHY WE STOCK IT
A simple, single-ingredient prebiotic fibre powder made with organic Fibregum™ acacia. It dissolves easily without adding flavour and can be mixed into water, smoothies or food.
 
BEST FOR
Adults and children aged four years and older looking to increase soluble fibre intake and support beneficial intestinal bacteria, including bifidobacteria. Its FODMAP-friendly acacia fibre may be easier to tolerate than some fermentable fibres for people prone to gas or bloating.
 
Individual tolerance varies, and this product is not intended to diagnose or treat irritable bowel syndrome or another digestive disorder.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Children 4 years and older: Take 1 scoop daily.
Adults 19 years and older: Take 1–2 scoops daily.
 
Mix into water, another beverage, a smoothie or soft food. Take each dose with at least 250 mL of liquid to maintain adequate fluid intake. Separate it from medications and other natural health products by at least two hours.
 
Adults new to supplemental fibre may wish to begin with one scoop daily before increasing to two. The 325 g container provides 65 one-scoop servings.
 
MEDICATION & SAFETY CAUTIONS
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you have difficulty swallowing or take medication that slows intestinal movement, including opioids or loperamide.
 
Seek professional advice before use if you have abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, fever, unexplained rectal bleeding, a sudden change in bowel habits lasting longer than two weeks, or have not had a bowel movement after using a laxative.
 
Mild gas, bloating or cramps may occur, particularly when fibre intake is increased quickly. Maintain adequate fluid intake and seek medical advice if symptoms persist or worsen.
 
INGREDIENT INFORMATION
Each 5 g scoop contains 5 g of organic Fibregum™ acacia, providing approximately 4 g of soluble fibre. There are no non-medicinal ingredients.
 
Vegan, unflavoured and labelled free from gluten, dairy, soy, wheat, yeast, sugar, genetically modified ingredients, artificial colours, flavours, preservatives and animal products.
