A shelf-stable, four-strain probiotic providing 7 billion colony-forming units per capsule. It is formulated to support intestinal health and may help reduce the duration of diarrhea in adults with irritable bowel syndrome.
 
It can also help reduce the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhea in children older than 12 years when used according to the specific label directions.
 
BEST FOR
Adults with medically assessed IBS, particularly when diarrhea is a significant symptom, who want to complete a short, strain-specific probiotic trial.
 
IBS should not be self-diagnosed solely from bloating, abdominal pain or altered bowel movements. These symptoms can also occur with celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, infection, medication effects and other conditions requiring different treatment.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
For general gastrointestinal support or IBS symptoms:
Adults: Take 1 capsule daily, with or without food, for 1–4 weeks or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
 
For reducing the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhea:
Children older than 12 years: Take 1 capsule three times daily with food throughout antibiotic treatment, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
 
For all uses, take each capsule at least 2–3 hours before or after an antibiotic.
 
At the adult dose, 30 capsules provide a 30-day supply. At the labelled adolescent antibiotic-associated-diarrhea dose, the bottle provides a 10-day supply.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or have an immunocompromised condition, including AIDS, lymphoma or long-term corticosteroid treatment. Ask a healthcare professional before use if you receive chemotherapy, anti-rejection therapy, biologic medication or another treatment that suppresses immune function.
 
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you have fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain. Stop use and seek advice if digestive upset occurs, worsens or continues for more than three days.
 
Some people experience temporary gas, bloating or changes in bowel habits when beginning a probiotic. Discontinue it if these symptoms are severe or persistent.
 
Seek prompt medical assessment for unexplained weight loss, anemia, rectal bleeding, black stools, persistent nighttime symptoms, repeated vomiting, dehydration, a new change in bowel habits after age 50 or a family history of colorectal cancer, celiac disease or inflammatory bowel disease.
 
This product contains lactose and sweet whey and may contain milk and soy. It is not appropriate for a milk allergy. The small lactose quantity may be tolerated by some people with lactose intolerance, but individual sensitivity varies.

Vegetarian capsule made from carbohydrate gum/cellulose and water, potato starch, lactose, sweet whey, vegetable-grade magnesium stearate and ascorbic acid.
 
Contains lactose and milk-derived whey and may contain soy and milk.
 
Although the capsule shell is vegetarian, the complete product is not vegan.
Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or sweeteners and is labelled free from sugar, wheat, gluten, corn, egg, fish, shellfish, salt, tree nuts and genetically modified ingredients.
 
STORAGE
Shelf-stable and does not require refrigeration. Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from heat and moisture. Refrigeration may help preserve potency but is not required.
 
Do not use after the expiry date or if the safety seal is damaged.
