WHY WE STOCK IT
A ready-to-use, non-medicated saline spray containing sterile, naturally sourced seawater. Its medium-strength stream helps loosen and flush away excessive mucus, allergens, dust and environmental pollutants while moisturizing the nasal passages.
 
The isotonic solution can relieve congestion associated with colds and allergies without causing the rebound congestion associated with prolonged use of medicated decongestant sprays.
 
BEST FOR
Adults and children two years and older experiencing nasal congestion, dryness or excessive mucus from colds, allergies, dust, indoor heating or other environmental irritants.
 
Medium Stream is stronger than a gentle mist but less forceful than hydraSense Full Stream. Children younger than two should use an age-appropriate hydraSense baby product rather than this spray.
 
HOW TO USE IT
Apply at least twice daily—morning and evening—for routine nasal care. When cold or allergy symptoms are present, apply 4–6 times daily.
 
For adults and children older than 12:
Attach the applicator to the container.
Lean forward over a sink and tilt the head to the right.
Place the nozzle gently into the left nostril, parallel to the nose.
Press the applicator for 1–2 seconds.
Tilt the head to the left and repeat in the right nostril.
Blow the nose gently.
Rinse the applicator with hot water and dry it thoroughly.
 
For children 2–6 years:
Keep the child upright without tilting the head backward. Gently place the applicator into one nostril, parallel to the nose, and spray very briefly for no more than one second. Repeat in the other nostril and wipe away loosened mucus.
 
Supervise children during use and follow the complete directions on the current package.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
This product contains saline rather than a medicated decongestant. It does not have a known direct medication interaction and is non-habit-forming.
 
When using it with a medicated nasal spray, use the saline first, gently clear the nose and then apply the medication as directed. Spraying saline afterward may rinse away the medication.
 
Do not share the applicator or container because nasal secretions can spread infection. Rinse the nozzle with hot water before and after use and dry it thoroughly. Do not insert the applicator forcefully or spray toward the nasal septum.
 
Stop use and seek advice if it causes persistent pain, burning, bleeding, ear discomfort or another unexpected reaction. Consult a healthcare professional before using it following nasal or sinus surgery.
 
Consult a doctor if cold or allergy symptoms worsen or last longer than five days. Seek prompt assessment for severe facial pain or swelling, breathing difficulty, high or persistent fever, swelling around the eyes, vision changes, a stiff neck or severe headache.
 
The applicator contains small parts. Keep it securely out of reach of unsupervised young children.
 
INGREDIENT INFORMATION
Sterile, undiluted, naturally sourced seawater adjusted to an isotonic concentration equivalent to:
Sodium chloride: 9 g/L or 0.9%
More than 70 naturally occurring marine trace elements
 
Free from medications, preservatives, chemical additives and propellant gas.
 
No soy, dairy, gluten or other food-derived allergen is listed. The product is applied nasally and is not intended to be swallowed.
 
STORAGE
Store between 15°C and 30°C. Protect the pressurized container from excessive heat and do not puncture or burn it, even when empty.
 
Keep the protective cap in place between uses. Do not use after the expiry date or if the container or applicator is damaged.
