A high-potency vitamin A supplement providing 3,000 mcg RAE—10,000 IU—per softgel from Norwegian cod liver oil and vitamin A palmitate. Vitamin A supports immune function, healthy eyesight and night vision, and the development and maintenance of bones and teeth.
 
BEST FOR
Adults with a confirmed or increased need for preformed vitamin A, including those advised to supplement because of inadequate intake or impaired fat absorption. This is a high-potency product and is not automatically appropriate for routine daily use.
 
Dry skin, poor night vision or frequent infections can have several causes and should not be assumed to indicate vitamin A deficiency.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults: Take 1 softgel once daily with a meal, or as recommended by a healthcare practitioner.
 
Because vitamin A is fat-soluble and stored in the body, do not exceed the recommended dose or use it long term without professional guidance. At the labelled dose, 120 softgels provide a 120-day supply.
 
MEDICATION & SAFETY CAUTIONS
Do not use during pregnancy, while breastfeeding or when trying to conceive unless specifically prescribed and monitored by a qualified healthcare professional. Preformed vitamin A at high doses can cause serious harm, including birth defects.
 
Do not combine with isotretinoin, acitretin or another oral retinoid. Ask our pharmacist before use if you take a tetracycline antibiotic, warfarin, orlistat, cholestyramine or another medication that may interact with vitamin A or affect fat absorption.
 
Consult a healthcare professional before use if you have liver disease, consume substantial amounts of alcohol, have osteoporosis or an elevated fracture risk, or already take cod liver oil, liver supplements, a multivitamin or another product containing vitamin A.
 
Stop use and seek medical advice if persistent headache, blurred vision, nausea, dizziness, unusual fatigue, bone or joint pain, dry or peeling skin, or hair loss develops. Keep out of reach of children.

Non-medicinal ingredients include bovine gelatin, glycerin, purified water, natural lemon flavour, rosemary extract, natural mixed tocopherols and ascorbyl palmitate.
