HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults: Take 2 teaspoons (10 mL) three times daily. It may be taken with or without food.
 
Shake well before use. Mix it with water or juice if desired. The manufacturer suggests adding a small quantity of honey if needed for taste.
 
The daily dose provides the equivalent of 6,000 mg of shiitake fruiting body. At 30 mL daily, the 250 mL bottle provides approximately eight days of use.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you take warfarin or another anticoagulant. Shiitake may affect blood coagulation, so additional monitoring may be appropriate.

Do not use if you are allergic to shiitake, mould or mushrooms. Stop use if hypersensitivity or an allergic reaction develops.
 
Shiitake can rarely cause a distinctive itchy, streak-like rash known as shiitake dermatitis. Seek medical advice for a widespread or persistent rash, facial swelling, breathing difficulty, fever or another severe reaction.
 
Possible effects may include nausea, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea or skin irritation. Keep out of reach of children and do not use if the security seal is broken.

Shiitake mushroom (Lentinula edodes) fruiting body: 1,000 mg
 
The label does not identify a standardized beta-glucan, lentinan or total-polysaccharide concentration. The stated milligram amount represents shiitake fruiting-body material, not 1,000 mg of isolated beta-glucans.
