WHY WE STOCK IT
A DEET-free, Health Canada-registered mosquito repellent formulated with lemon, eucalyptus, pine needle, geranium and camphor essential oils in a mineral- and sunflower-oil base. Its pump format is intended for children older than two years and families who prefer an essential-oil-based repellent. PCP Registration No. 25797.
 
BEST FOR
Children over two years of age who need short-term protection from mosquitoes during outdoor play, camping or family activities. Protection lasts approximately two hours and requires more frequent reapplication than many icaridin- or DEET-based repellents.
 
The Canadian label is for repelling mosquitoes. Do not assume it provides reliable protection from ticks unless the physical label specifically includes that claim.
 
HOW TO USE IT
Apply a thin film sparingly to exposed skin only when needed. Do not apply beneath clothing.
 
For the face, spray a small amount into an adult’s hands and gently spread it onto the child’s face, avoiding the eyes and mouth. Adults should always apply the product to young children; do not spray it directly onto their faces or apply it to their hands.
 
Reapply after two hours only if mosquito exposure continues. Do not exceed two applications per day. Wash treated skin and contaminated clothing with soap and water after returning indoors.
 
When using sunscreen, apply the sunscreen first and allow it to absorb before applying the insect repellent.
 
SAFETY INFORMATION
Do not use on children two years of age or younger. For external use only. Avoid the eyes, mouth, hands of young children, wounds, and sensitive, irritated or sunburned skin.
 
Stop use if irritation or a rash develops. If it enters the eyes, rinse gently with water for 15–20 minutes. If swallowed, contact a poison control centre or healthcare professional immediately and do not induce vomiting unless instructed.
 
Keep out of reach of children. The formula contains essential oils and a petroleum-distillate solvent. “Natural” does not mean allergy-free or appropriate for every age.
