A comprehensive prenatal providing 24 vitamins and minerals, including active L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, methylcobalamin vitamin B12, iron, iodine, calcium and magnesium. Its vitamin A activity comes from beta-carotene rather than preformed retinol.

Women preparing for pregnancy and those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Daily folate beginning at least three months before conception and continuing through early pregnancy helps reduce the risk of neural-tube defects and supports normal development of the fetal brain and spinal cord.
 
This formula does not contain DHA or other omega-3 fatty acids and provides only modest amounts of choline and vitamin D. Additional supplementation may be appropriate depending on diet, laboratory results and professional advice.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Pregnant and breastfeeding women 19 years and older: Take 2 capsules twice daily with food. Take the capsules a few hours before or after medications and other natural health products. Women planning pregnancy should confirm their prenatal regimen with a healthcare practitioner.
 
At the labelled dose of 4 capsules daily, 120 capsules provide a 30-day supply.
 
MEDICATION & SAFETY CAUTIONS
The daily dose provides 45 mg of iron. Do not combine it with another iron-containing prenatal, multivitamin or separate iron supplement unless directed by a healthcare professional.
 
Separate this product from levothyroxine, tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, bisphosphonates and other medicines affected by minerals according to your pharmacist’s instructions. Consult before use if you take warfarin or another blood thinner because it contains vitamin K1.
 
Iron may cause nausea, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort or dark stools. Dividing the dose and taking it with food may improve tolerance. Stop use if an allergic reaction occurs.
 
Keep securely out of reach of children. This package contains enough iron to cause serious or fatal poisoning in a child; suspected accidental ingestion requires immediate poison-control or emergency assistance.
