HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults 19 years and older: Take 1 softgel daily with an adequate intake of calcium, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Taking the softgel with a meal may help establish a consistent routine. Dietary calcium is sufficient unless a healthcare practitioner recommends a separate calcium supplement.
Consult a healthcare practitioner before using it for longer than six months. At the labelled dose, 240 softgels provide a 240-day supply; therefore, professional review is advised before completing the entire bottle.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Do not use if you have high blood-calcium or urinary-calcium levels.
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you:
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have kidney disease, kidney stones or another disorder affecting calcium metabolism
Have sarcoidosis, hyperparathyroidism or another condition that may increase vitamin D sensitivity
Take antacids, anticonvulsants, digoxin, cholestyramine, colestipol, mineral oil, corticosteroids, statins or thiazide diuretics
Use a multivitamin, cod-liver oil, calcium product, vitamin D analogue or another supplement containing vitamin D
 
Add together the vitamin D supplied by all supplements before use. Do not exceed the recommended dose unless directed and monitored by a healthcare practitioner.
 
Stop use and seek medical advice if weakness, unusual fatigue, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, dry mouth, metallic taste, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, ringing in the ears, poor coordination or muscle weakness develops. These may be early signs of an excessively high calcium level.

STORAGE
