HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults, preferably 15 minutes before meals:
For prevention: Take 1–2 tablets daily.
For acute symptoms: Take 3–4 tablets daily.
 
The tablets may be swallowed or chewed. Use for up to four months.
 
For a 30-tablet package, this provides approximately 15–30 days of preventive use or 7–10 days at the acute-treatment dose. Supply will differ if purchasing the 120-tablet format.
 
MEDICATION & SAFETY CAUTIONS
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you have an autoimmune disorder, tuberculosis, a collagen disorder, HIV/AIDS, multiple sclerosis or another progressive systemic disease, or if you take an immunosuppressant or receive treatment following an organ transplant.
 
Do not use if you are allergic to echinacea, any ingredient in the product or plants in the daisy family, including ragweed, chrysanthemums and chamomile. Rare but potentially severe allergic reactions can occur.
 
The manufacturer’s Canadian directions include pregnant and breastfeeding adults; however, anyone with a high-risk pregnancy, complex medical condition or prescription treatment should confirm suitability with their healthcare professional.
 
Stop use and seek advice if symptoms persist or worsen. Obtain prompt medical attention for difficulty breathing, chest pain, confusion, dehydration, a persistent high fever or symptoms that improve and then become significantly worse.
 
INGREDIENT INFORMATION
Each tablet contains dry extracts of fresh, organically grown Echinacea purpurea:
Herb extract 17.67 mg, equivalent to 95 mg dried herb
Root extract 0.93 mg, equivalent to 5.5 mg dried root
 
The manufacturer describes each tablet as being made with the equivalent of 1,200 mg of fresh echinacea tincture.
 
Non-medicinal ingredients: lactose, starch, vegetable magnesium stearate and soy polysaccharides.
 
Gluten-free and sugar-free. Contains lactose and soy. NPN 80021981.
