Adults with a confirmed or increased need for vitamin B12, including vegans and vegetarians, older adults and people whose absorption may be affected by gastrointestinal conditions, bariatric surgery, metformin or long-term acid-reducing medication.
 
Fatigue, weakness, numbness, memory changes or balance problems should be properly assessed rather than automatically treated with B12, since these symptoms can have several causes.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults: Take 1–3 capsules daily in divided doses or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Depending on the dose, 60 capsules provide a 20- to 60-day supply.
 
Consult a healthcare practitioner before taking more than 1 capsule daily for longer than four months.
 
MEDICATION & SAFETY CAUTIONS
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Ask our pharmacist about B12 testing if you take metformin, a proton-pump inhibitor such as pantoprazole or omeprazole, or an H2 blocker such as famotidine, since long-term use can contribute to low B12 levels.
 
A 1,000 mcg capsule is substantially higher than the daily dietary requirement and is commonly used when absorption is limited or deficiency is suspected. It should not replace B12 injections or prescribed treatment when severe deficiency, pernicious anemia or significant neurological symptoms are present.
 
Stop use and seek advice if an allergic reaction or persistent nausea, diarrhea, headache or acne-like skin eruption develops.

Each capsule contains vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin 1,000 mcg. Non-medicinal ingredients are hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, cellulose and purified water.
