A convenient, quick-dissolving tablet providing 1,000 mcg of vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin—the active coenzyme form. Vitamin B12 supports energy metabolism, red blood cell and tissue formation, normal immune function and the prevention of vitamin B12 deficiency.
 
BEST FOR
Adults with low vitamin B12 levels or increased risk of deficiency, including older adults, vegetarians and people using metformin or long-term acid-reducing medication. It may also be appropriate when dietary intake or absorption is inadequate.
 
Vitamin B12 can correct fatigue caused by deficiency, but it is not a stimulant and is unlikely to increase energy when B12 status is already adequate. Persistent fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, memory changes, numbness or tingling should be medically assessed.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults: Dissolve 1 tablet under the tongue once daily, or use as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Allow it to dissolve rather than swallowing it whole immediately.
 
At the labelled dose, 90 tablets provide a 90-day supply.
 
MEDICATION & SAFETY CAUTIONS
Ask our pharmacist whether B12 monitoring is appropriate if you take metformin, a proton-pump inhibitor such as pantoprazole or omeprazole, an H2 blocker such as famotidine, or another medicine that may affect B12 status.
 
Do not rely on self-treatment when pernicious anemia, significant malabsorption or neurological symptoms are suspected; blood testing and prescription treatment may be required. Consult a healthcare professional before use if you have Leber’s hereditary optic neuropathy or a known cobalt or cobalamin allergy.
 
Vitamin B12 is generally well tolerated, but rare reactions can include rash, itching or acne-like breakouts. Stop use and seek advice if an allergic reaction occurs.
 
INGREDIENT INFORMATION
Each sublingual tablet contains vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin 1,000 mcg.
Non-medicinal ingredients include lactose monohydrate, cellulose, croscarmellose sodium and vegetable-grade magnesium stearate. Suitable for vegetarians, but not vegan or dairy-free because it contains lactose.
 
Free from artificial preservatives, colours and sweeteners, as well as starch, added sugar, wheat, gluten, yeast, soy, corn, egg, fish, shellfish, salt, tree nuts and genetically modified ingredients.
