This variety of Tamanu oil originates in Madagascar although Tamanu can be found in South East Asia.  Tamanu oil is used in skin care products because it is composed of phospholipids and glycolipids, which are known to help protect the skin’s moisture barrier and are natural constituents of healthy looking skin. Use it neat or blended with other carrier oils it will revitalize and improve the texture of skin, giving it a fresh look.
