A comprehensive, iron-free multivitamin and mineral formula providing bioactive B vitamins, chelated minerals, mixed carotenoids, tocotrienols and boron in two capsules daily.
 
It includes methylcobalamin vitamin B12, 5-MTHF folate and pyridoxal-5′-phosphate vitamin B6. These forms are ready for the body to use without implying that everyone requires a “methylated” supplement.
 
BEST FOR
Adults seeking broad nutritional coverage without iron, calcium, magnesium or copper. The iron-free formulation may be particularly appropriate for many men, postmenopausal women and adults who obtain sufficient iron through food.
 
This may not be the best multivitamin for menstruating individuals with iron deficiency, pregnancy or anyone whose bloodwork indicates a need for iron. It is not a prenatal supplement and does not replace a balanced diet or individualized treatment for a nutrient deficiency.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults 19 years and older: Take 2 capsules daily with meals, a few hours before or after other medications and natural health products, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
 
The capsules may be taken together or divided between two meals. Avoid taking them close to bedtime if B vitamins feel stimulating.
 
At the labelled dose, 120 capsules provide a 60-day supply.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you:
Take warfarin or another blood thinner
Have diabetes or take blood-glucose-lowering medication
Have a kidney or thyroid disorder
Have been diagnosed with estrogen-dependent cancer
Have a history of non-melanoma skin cancer
Smoke tobacco
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Are preparing for surgery
 
The formula contains vitamins K1 and K2, which may reduce warfarin’s anticoagulant effect and alter INR results. Do not start or stop it while taking warfarin without approval from the clinician managing your anticoagulation.
 
Chromium may affect blood-glucose control, while iodine may require review in people with a thyroid condition. Separate this multivitamin from levothyroxine by at least 4 hours. Ask our pharmacist about spacing from antibiotics or other medications affected by minerals.
 
Do not combine it with another multivitamin or several individual vitamin A, D, zinc, selenium, iodine or B-vitamin supplements without checking the combined daily amounts.
 
Niacin may occasionally cause warmth or flushing. Riboflavin can turn urine bright yellow, which is harmless. Stop use and seek advice if a rash, persistent stomach upset or another unexpected reaction develops.
 
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the safety seal is broken.
