A high-strength vitamin D supplement providing 2,500 IU—62.5 mcg—of vitamin D3 per softgel in an organic coconut-oil base. The oil-based format supports absorption of this fat-soluble vitamin.

Adults at risk of vitamin D deficiency because of limited sun exposure, darker skin, older age, reduced dietary intake or absorption concerns. Vitamin D supports immune function, calcium absorption and the maintenance of healthy bones and teeth.
 
When combined with adequate calcium, a healthy diet and regular exercise, vitamin D may help reduce osteoporosis risk in people who are deficient.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults 19 years and older: Take 1 softgel daily with an adequate dietary intake of calcium. Taking it with a meal containing some fat may support absorption.
At the labelled dose, 240 softgels provide a 240-day supply. Consult a healthcare practitioner before using it for longer than six months.
 
MEDICATION & SAFETY CAUTIONS
Do not use if you have high blood calcium or high urinary calcium. Consult a healthcare practitioner before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding or if you have kidney disease, kidney stones, sarcoidosis, hyperparathyroidism or another condition that can raise calcium levels.
 
Ask our pharmacist before use if you take digoxin, a thiazide diuretic, anticonvulsant, corticosteroid, cholestyramine, colestipol, mineral oil, certain antacids or a vitamin D analogue.
 
Check the combined vitamin D supplied by your multivitamin, calcium supplement and other products. Stop use and seek advice if unusual weakness, fatigue, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, excessive thirst, dry mouth, metallic taste, nausea, vomiting, ringing in the ears, poor coordination or muscle weakness develops, as these may indicate elevated calcium.

Each softgel provides vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol 62.5 mcg, equivalent to 2,500 IU. Non-medicinal ingredients are organic coconut oil, gelatin, glycerin and purified water.
 
Non-GMO and labelled free from gluten, dairy, wheat, soy, yeast, sugar, artificial colours, flavours and preservatives. This product is not vegetarian or vegan because it contains gelatin and lanolin-derived vitamin D3. NPN 80115395.
