Our licensed Ontario pharmacists are authorized to assess and prescribe treatment for a wide range of common, non-serious conditions — often the same day. Conditions We Can Assess & Treat: - Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) in women - Cold sores - Seasonal allergies & allergic rhinitis - Insect bites and stings - Pink eye (conjunctivitis) - Heartburn & acid reflux (GERD symptoms) - Eczema and skin irritations - Vaginal yeast infections - Hemorrhoids - Sprains, strains, and muscle pain And more eligible minor conditions under Ontario pharmacist prescribing guidelines. What to Expect During your assessment, your pharmacist will: -Review your symptoms and medical history - Assess current medications and potential interactions - Determine if prescription treatment is appropriate - Provide on-the-spot prescribing or evidence-based treatment recommendations This service is designed for convenient, accessible care — without requiring a doctor’s appointment. OHIP Coverage Many minor ailments assessments are covered by OHIP for eligible Ontario residents. Private pay options are available when coverage does not apply. 📅 Cancellation & No-Show Policy At WellnessRX Pharmacy, your appointment time is reserved just for you. Late cancellations or missed appointments prevent others from accessing care. To ensure fairness to all clients and our practitioners: ⏰ Cancellation Policy We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment will be subject to a 100% fee of the scheduled service. ❌ Missed Appointments (No-Shows) If you miss your appointment without prior notice, you will be charged the full appointment fee. 💳 Payment Terms Missed appointment fees must be paid before future bookings can be scheduled.
