WHY WE STOCK IT
A Health Canada–licensed children’s herbal tincture containing astragalus and codonopsis. These herbs are used in herbal medicine to help maintain a healthy immune system and as vital-energy tonics for fatigue.
 
This is the original tincture containing alcohol and whey. It is not the alcohol-free Deep Immune Kids Honey & Berry syrup.
 
BEST FOR
Children two years and older who need daily immune support and can take an alcohol-containing liquid herbal product. Its graduated dosing also accommodates adolescents and adults.
 
This product supports normal immune function; it does not prevent or treat colds, influenza or other infections. It should not replace vaccination, adequate sleep, balanced nutrition or medical care when a child is unwell.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Give the appropriate dose twice daily in a little water or juice on an empty stomach:
Children 2–4 years: 0.75–1 mL per dose
Children 5–9 years: 1–1.5 mL per dose
Children and adolescents 10–14 years: 2–3 mL per dose
Adults and adolescents 15 years and older: 4.5–6 mL per dose
 
Measure each dose with an oral syringe or marked dropper for accuracy. Shake before use and follow the current package directions.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if the person taking it has an autoimmune disorder. Because astragalus may influence immune activity, ask our pharmacist before combining it with an immunosuppressant or using it following an organ transplant.

Do not give it to a child younger than two years. This formula contains alcohol and milk-derived whey. Do not use it in anyone with a milk allergy, and confirm suitability if alcohol must be strictly avoided.
 
Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Seek prompt medical attention for breathing difficulty, unusual drowsiness, dehydration, a stiff neck, a seizure, a concerning rash or a fever in a very young infant. A supplement should not delay assessment of a child who appears seriously unwell.
 
Stop use if a rash, swelling, breathing difficulty, digestive upset or another suspected reaction occurs. Keep out of reach of children.

Certified-organic astragalus root: 0.35 mL of a 1:4 extract, equivalent to 87.5 mg dried root

Distilled water, certified-organic alcohol, whey from milk and certified-organic vegetable glycerine.
 
Contains milk and alcohol. The product is vegetarian but not vegan because it contains whey.
 
No soy ingredient is listed in the current formula; however, the manufacturer’s official page does not provide an explicit soy-free or cross-contamination guarantee. Anyone with a severe soy allergy should confirm the current physical label or contact the manufacturer before use.
 
STORAGE
Store at room temperature and keep the bottle tightly closed. Do not use if the safety seal is broken.
