Water purified through distillation, a process that converts water into steam and condenses it back into liquid. This removes most dissolved minerals and helps reduce the mineral buildup that ordinary tap water can leave behind.
 
The convenient 4 L jug is suitable for many household uses requiring distilled water.

Always follow the instructions supplied with the appliance or device. Some manufacturers require a specific grade of water.
 
HOW TO USE IT
Pour directly from the container without touching the inside of the cap or bottle opening.
 
For a CPAP machine, add the water only to the removable humidifier chamber and follow the device manufacturer’s cleaning and filling instructions. Replace the chamber water daily rather than continually topping it up.
 
For humidifiers, irons or other appliances, use only as directed by the manufacturer.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Distilled water is purified but is not necessarily sterile. Do not use it for injections, wound irrigation, contact-lens care or another application requiring sterile water unless the package specifically identifies it as sterile and suitable for that purpose.
 
Do not use ordinary bottled distilled water as a substitute for sterile water for injection. Never inject, inhale or infuse it directly into the body.
 
For nasal or sinus rinsing, use water that the physical label confirms is distilled or sterile, keep the container uncontaminated and carefully clean the rinsing device after every use. Ask our pharmacist if you are unsure.
 
When preparing infant formula, follow Health Canada’s complete formula-preparation instructions and the directions on the formula container. Distilled water does not eliminate the need for safe handling or temperature requirements because powdered infant formula itself is not sterile.
 
Distilled water contains very little naturally occurring mineral content. It is not proven to provide additional health benefits over safe municipal or spring water for routine drinking.
 
Do not use if the seal is missing or damaged. Discard the water if it develops an unusual smell, taste, colour or visible contamination.
 
INGREDIENT AND ALLERGEN INFORMATION
Ingredient: Distilled water.
 
No sugar, calories, flavours or minerals are intentionally added. Water does not contain soy, dairy, gluten, eggs, nuts or other food allergens.
 
Because detailed manufacturer specifications could not be located online, confirm the physical package before advertising this product as sterile, demineralized to a particular standard or approved for a specialized medical or laboratory application.
 
STORAGE
Keep the cap tightly closed and store the jug in a cool, clean place away from direct sunlight, chemicals and strong odours.
 
After opening, avoid touching the bottle opening or pouring unused water back into the container. Replace the cap promptly to reduce contamination.
