This formula combines several forms of magnesium, but the manufacturer does not disclose how much of the 100 mg comes from each form. It should therefore not be presented as providing a clinically studied standalone dose of magnesium L-threonate or any other individual form.
 
It supports normal muscle function but is not a treatment for chest pain, an abnormal heart rhythm, persistent muscle weakness or medically significant magnesium deficiency.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults and adolescents 14 years and older: Take 1 capsule one to three times daily.
 
Each capsule provides 100 mg of elemental magnesium. The maximum labelled dose provides 300 mg daily.
The 120-capsule bottle supplies:
120 days at 1 capsule daily
60 days at 2 capsules daily
40 days at 3 capsules daily
 
Taking the capsules with food or dividing the dose throughout the day may improve digestive tolerance.
 
MEDICATION AND SAFETY CAUTIONS
Consult a healthcare professional before use if you have kidney disease, significantly reduced kidney function, heart block or another condition affecting magnesium or electrolyte balance.
 
Magnesium can reduce the absorption of certain medications. Separate it from:
Levothyroxine by at least 4 hours
Tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics according to the medication’s specific directions
Oral bisphosphonates by at least 2 hours
Other medications or mineral supplements when directed by your pharmacist
 
Ask our pharmacist about spacing if you take gabapentin, an iron supplement or another product containing magnesium, calcium or zinc.
 
Magnesium supplements may cause diarrhea, nausea or abdominal cramping. Reduce the dose or stop use if these effects occur. Seek medical advice for persistent diarrhea, marked weakness, confusion, unusually slow heartbeat or low blood pressure.
 
Do not use magnesium supplements to self-treat chest pain, fainting, a suspected arrhythmia or severe muscle weakness. These symptoms require medical assessment.
 
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the safety seal is broken.
