A vegan calcium supplement providing 200 mg of elemental calcium per capsule from DimaCal® di-calcium malate and TRAACS® calcium bisglycinate chelate. These forms are designed for good absorption and digestive tolerance without the large, chalky tablets associated with some calcium products.
 
BEST FOR
Adults who do not consistently obtain enough calcium from food or who have been advised to supplement for bone and dental health. Calcium also supports normal muscle contraction and nerve function. Osteoporosis and fracture risk require professional assessment; calcium alone does not replace adequate vitamin D, exercise or prescribed osteoporosis treatment.
 
HOW TO TAKE IT
Adults: Take 1–4 capsules daily, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Take the capsules a few hours before or after other medications.
 
Each capsule provides 200 mg of elemental calcium; four capsules provide 800 mg. Depending on the dose, the 120-capsule bottle supplies approximately 30–120 days.
 
MEDICATION & SAFETY CAUTIONS
Separate calcium from levothyroxine, tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, bisphosphonates and other interacting medications according to your pharmacist’s instructions. Review your total intake if you also use a multivitamin, prenatal supplement, antacid or another calcium product.
 
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you have kidney disease, a history of calcium-containing kidney stones, high blood calcium, hyperparathyroidism or another condition affecting calcium metabolism.
 
Excessive calcium may cause constipation, nausea or abdominal discomfort and can be harmful when combined intake from food and supplements is too high.
